William H. Dorton

Will Dorton is an associate in the firm’s Global Finance & Debt Products Group. His practice focuses on representing both financial institutions and companies in a variety of corporate finance transactions, including secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, structured financings, acquisitions financings and asset-based financings.

Mr. Dorton earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2011. While there, he served as a staff editor for the Kentucky Law Journal and was elected as a member of the Order of the Coif. He was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Civil Procedure I, Securities Regulation, Legal Accounting and Tax Policy. Mr. Dorton graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in anthropology and minors in religion and psychology.
