Bill Katt is senior counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm's Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Appellate, and Environmental Regulation Practices and the International Litigation and Arbitration Group.
Mr. Katt specializes in the resolution of high-stakes U.S. and international disputes that have arisen out of complex commercial transactions, including disputes regarding compliance with federal regulations, intellectual property licenses, stock and asset purchase agreements, mining leases, health care provider agreements, employment agreements, and insurance policies. Mr. Katt has significant experience defending clients from allegations of securities law violations and in shareholder derivative litigation, and in litigating matters implicating federal and state environmental laws. Mr. Katt also assists clients in conducting internal investigations in the face of reported or suspected violations of state or federal laws.
