William Hawkins has more than a decade of experience in counseling secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, committees, lessors, equity holders and other constituencies in credit restructurings, corporate reorganizations, bankruptcies and liquidation proceedings. His practice also encompasses significant commercial litigation matters, in federal and state courts, as well as in out-of-court, negotiated solutions and alternative dispute resolution. He also represents debtor-in-possession and exit financing lenders, and purchasers of assets in bankruptcy. Mr. Hawkins is admitted to the New York State Courts, and the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of New York. He has handled matters throughout the United States, including in the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Arizona, the Central District of California, the District of Delaware, the Southern District of Florida, and the District of New Jersey.
