William Chad Roberts is a tax attorney in the firm’s East Memphis office. His practice includes federal and state tax planning, estate planning, tax audit/litigation disputes, and business planning and transactions. Mr. Roberts was a graduate assistant editor of the Florida Tax Review while attending The University of Florida graduate tax program. During law school, he served as notes and comments editor of The University of Memphis Law Review. He is a member of the tax sections of the Tennessee and Memphis bar associations and is the author of “A Cautionary Tale in Community Property Trusts,” in the Tennessee Bar Journal, July 2011. He has also presented at continuing education seminars on various tax-related topics, including “Tax Issues for the General Practitioner,” TennBarU and “How to Keep Tax Exempt Organizations in Compliance,” National Business Institute.
