William S. Dufoe is a senior partner in Holland & Knight's Tampa office. For nearly 35 years, Mr. Dufoe represented clients in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, real estate litigation, construction disputes, professional liability, product liability, civil fraud and unfair competition. Although Mr. Dufoe’s litigation practice consisted primarily of commercial matters, he has also defended personal injury and wrongful death claims. He has advocated on behalf of parties in trial and appellate courts and before arbitration tribunals. In addition to his primary focus on litigation, Mr. Dufoe has provided advice and counsel to clients concerning contract issues, risk management and other business matters.

Mr. Dufoe now limits his practice to serving as a neutral in alternative dispute resolution procedures such as mediation and arbitration. He is certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a mediator in civil matters and has been mediating cases in the circuit courts of Florida since 1992. He has also served as an arbitrator and court-appointed special master.
