Claire Sheng's
practice focuses on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions and related matters. Claire has represented acquirers and sellers in a variety of corporate transactions, including stock or asset acquisitions, sales of business divisions, negotiated or unsolicited transactions, leveraged buyouts and joint ventures. Claire also represents private equity firms, hedge funds and other investment entities in connection with investments in public companies and related actions, including proxy contests. Claire also regularly advises clients on a variety of corporate governance issues.
Claire co-authored the article "Ten Rules for Dealing with Activist Shareholders" in the January 2007 edition of The M&A Journal.
