Zack Paris represents clients in complex commercial real estate development transactions, portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture formations, and debt and equity financings, including the issuance of both tax-exempt and taxable bonds. He represents hotel owners and operators in development, acquisition and disposition, and financing transactions. He also represents airlines in the development, leasing, and bond financing of airline terminal facilities.
Zack's representative transactions include the $2.1 billion acquisition of 107 shopping centers from Benderson Development and the $1.15 billion acquisition of 15 shopping centers in Puerto Rico from Caribbean Property Group by Developers Diversified Realty, the negotiation of reciprocal agreements and related leases for eight regional shopping centers developed by Forest City Enterprises, and the $900 million bond financing and leasing of Terminal C-3 at Newark Liberty International Airport on behalf of Continental Airlines.
Other clients with which Zack regularly works include Hemisphere Development, Heritage Development, Meadowlands Xanadu, Ray Fogg Building Methods, and Stark Enterprises.
Zack serves on the boards of trustees of the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation, the Hanna Perkins Center for Child Development, the Downtown Cleveland Alliance, and several family foundations administered by the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland (on whose board of trustees he previously served).
