Ziad serves as a Deputy Practice Group Leader for the Real Estate Group in Reed Smith's New York office. He specializes in all aspects of the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of real estate in single asset and portfolio transactions and including industrial and commercial single-user facilities, shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, multi-family, mixed-use and self-storage properties. He has considerable knowledge in sale-leaseback and build-to-suit financing transactions and representation of landlords and tenants in commercial office leases. Furthermore, Ziad has extensive experience in real estate finance, including permanent and construction loan transactions for borrowers and institutional lenders.
He regularly advises REITs, private equity funds, investment banks, institutional lenders, individual investors and portfolio companies in various types of complex domestic, international and cross border investment transactions.
